Our first night in Tokyo, we decided to book a really nice meal so that we'd be forced to push through the jet lag and stay awake! We booked what was, at the time, the number one restaurant on trip advisor for Tokyo: the Tapas Molecular Bar at the Mandarin Oriental.
This magical evening of wonder and experimentation was certainly not what we expected. We were sat with a group of 6 other couples, two from the US and one from Tokyo. We enjoyed a variety of small but incredible courses. I will post the photos below because I understand that this won't ruin the surprise - the menu has now changed again! There are so many photos because attempting to describe the magic would not do it justice.
